Welcome to the Educational Resources page! We hope that whether you are able to visit the Museum in person or not, you have a joyful, engaging, varied and multisensory learning experience.

These resources are designed for a diverse range of ages and learning styles. They invite discussion and discovery of art, objects, and other cultural expressions of faith, guiding the user to discover how people are more alike than they are different, and creating a space for self-reflection and empathy. Our hope is that these resources bring the people represented in Glencairn’s collections to life, building the world an object existed in, and connecting objects to the practices for which they were created.

When a visit to the Museum is not possible, these resources are designed to reach a digital community beyond the building’s physical location and provide materials for learning and engaging with our collections. When a visit is possible, they can be used to introduce, prepare for, expand on, and conclude the material covered in the course of the visit.

To book an education program, or for questions and assistance please contact Amy Glenn, Education Programs Manager at amy.glenn@glencairnmuseum.org or 267-502-2962. You can also submit an Education Program Request Form.
