Join other Glencairn Museum members and Museum staff for the opening of the exhibition, The Sacred Art of Ethiopia.

Ethiopian Christian artists tell the same biblical stories shared around the world, but their art reflects the unique style, culture, and spiritual traditions of Ethiopia.

After time for refreshments and an introduction, attendees will have directed self-guided time in both the exhibition and select galleries to compare the Ethiopian depictions of biblical stories with those from other cultures represented in the Glencairn Museum collection. After time for reflection, attendees and staff will be given an opportunity to share their observations with each other.
