About Us

Glencairn was the home of Raymond and Mildred Pitcairn, built in the Romanesque style between 1928 and 1939. In 1980, after Mildred Pitcairn passed away, Glencairn was given to the Academy of the New Church to house its museum collection. Glencairn now serves as a museum of the history of religion, serving the Academy of the New Church schools and the broader public.
